FAST FACTS
Amridge is planning an expansion on its new 185 acre campus that has
1.5 miles of Interstate frontage with scenic lakes.This campus will serve as the primary location of a well
designed campus for its Turner School of Theology of Amridge
University. A new facility will be built to provide new space for the
library, administrative staff, classrooms, and living quarters on this
new campus.
Amridge is encouraging its Bible faculty in its involvement in Bible
teaching programs in foreign countries. The university is presently
involved in 41 countries which include such countries as:Bangladesh, Central America, Chili, India, Easter Island,
Guyana, Iceland, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Indonesia,
Singapore, South Africa, South Pacific Islands, Tanzania, and Ukraine.
Amridge has a student body of men and women from all walks of social
and religious life—over 60% of its student body have had no
affiliation with the fellowship of the Churches of Christ and many
students, as a result of their social heritage, are experiencing their
first involvement and contribution in Christian education.
Amridge students gave their academic experience at Amridge University
a high 94% rating with 97% stating that they would recommend the
University’s academic programs to their friends.
Amridge's Turner School of Theology is an associate member of the
Association of Theological Schools (ATS).
Amridge students enrolled in the Doctor of
Philosophy in Biblical Studies program are serving in church
ministry—80% of the enrolled students are in full time ministry.
Amridge is licensed to physically teach in the states of Alabama,
Arizona, Tennessee, Idaho, Montana and Utah.
Amridge has a foundation that through the leadership of the Board of
Regents aggressively seeks private and corporate funding for the
benefit of the university and its students.
Amridge is dedicated to providing programs to foster student
development. The Office of Student Affairs provides services to
promote student development, diversity and career services.
