The
mission of the Financial Aid Office is to inform and
assist the student regarding the available options
for assistance with the financial obligations
associated with their post-secondary education. By
definition financial aid is money supplied by a
source other than the family to assist with the
costs of a student’s education.
If you do not plan to make payment in full for
tuition and fees at the time of registration, you
will need to complete the Financial Aid Application. |

To determine your eligibility for federal grants and student
loans you must complete a
FAFSA
(Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the
appropriate year with the Dept of Education. If
additional information is required you will be
notified by the Amridge University Financial Aid
Office. |

This application must be completed online by any student who
does not plan to make full payment for tuition and fees at
the time of registration.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid
FAFSA |
This federal form must be completed on
the web at
www. FAFSA.ed.gov
by any student who plans to apply for a
Pell Grant, Federal Stafford Student
Loans, Federal Work-Study, or our
University Need-Based Scholarship.
Amridge University should be listed as a
school to receive an Institutional
Student Information Report, ISIR, from
the Department of Education. School Code
is
016885. The Financial Aid
Office must have a current year eligible
ISIR on file.
It will be necessary to have a PIN
(Personal Identification Number) from
the Dept of Education to e-sign the
FAFSA. If you do not have a PIN or have
forgotten your PIN, click on the apply
button.

FAFSA for 08-09 needed for Fall
2008, Spring 09 and/or Summer 09 |
If you
completed a federal tax return for 2007
you will need a copy and your W2’s to
answer the questions on this form. If you have
completed a FAFSA for 2008-2009 but did
not list us as a school to receive your
record, go back to the FAFSA website and
add the Amridge University school code,
016885.

Financial Aid
Awards |

Once the Amridge Financial Aid
Application and the report from the information
submitted on the FAFSA are received, an email
will be sent with a link to the student’s
Amridge University Initial Financial Aid Award
Letter. The Initial Financial Aid Award Letter
will include any federal grants (if eligible)
and the maximum amount of Federal Stafford
Student Loan money for which the student
qualifies.
Please click the submit button at the bottom of
the award page after accepting, declining or
reducing the specific awards offered.
More information on the awards and the specific
eligibility requirements can be found by
clicking on the name of the award. Request for
changes after the initial submission must be
made by email to
financialaid@amridgeuniversity.edu.
Notification of any additional required
documentation will be by email from the Amridge
Financial Aid Office. If corrections are
necessary a link to a Revised Financial Aid
Award Letter will be emailed.
