Quality Enhancement Program at Amridge University

Amridge University is committed to providing students with online access to over 30 academic programs of study coupled with an array of student support services to help students succeed in their respective program of study. These programs and services have been initiated under the University’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). This page provides students with a summary description of programs and services under the student-oriented sections of the QEP. Because some of the programs and services are proprietary and/or copyrighted by selected providers, some of the pages require a student login username and password. For purposes of this page, the student username and password are the same as for the Blackboard system. Each program or service is bulleted on the list below. A short summary and an Internet link to the respective program or service follow each item. Please feel free to contact our technical support for help. Library Orientation

These tutorials serve as a brief orientation to the library services available through the University. The orientation places special emphasis on the utilization of the Amridge Virtual Library System and, in addition, discusses some basic tips for online library research and information retrieval.

Personal Counseling Resource Center

The Personal Counseling Resource Center currently provides three valuable tools for Amridge students: The Learning and Student Strategies Inventory (LASSI), the Barsch Learning Styles Inventory, and a reference page for selecting and finding a counselor or therapist. Most of these services (particularly the Barsch and LASSI inventories) are offered at no charge to our students. We hope they are useful to you.
